You can purchase a BB days plan or you can go to options, network and turn off your data services. That should get rid of it.

    Good luck

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~get the data plan. If you are on t-mobile you can ask them to put a patch on your phone that wil let you sms mms and use instant messenger. And you won't have to worry about the data connection refused.

Actually that is not a "Patch", In conjuction with RIM, T-Mobile will now offer a Free Data link that lets you Send MMS ( MMS Pricing is the Same), Or get to T-Zones and Download Ring Tones or Wallpapers from T-Mobile and this will also make the Data Connection Refused go away.
