I unlocked my phone.. but I get:

    Data Connection refused

& Text Message: 453 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number. and then a bunch of numbers.

    What happened?

I put in my Cingular SIM card and it should have worked.

    Help please!

I'd suggest a call to your customer support. You might have to be reconnected to the network for Cingular. What kind of BlackBerry do you have? Are you sure it is not a GSM phone.. ie a T-Mobile phone..

I had that message before I broke down and purchased a data plan.

yea you need a data plan and have the phone registered with the data plan for that line of text to go away. when the phone is turned on and you activate the data plan it registers it no big deal or extra step
