Lightbulb Create a poll for OS reliability?

I don't have the option and I was hoping someone can post a poll for me. I would like to see a comparison of the latest OS (the .96, .94, and .73 specifically--more if needed). I am starting to doubt my Roger's .94 with its dropped calls problem. It seems like .73 has been the most reliable with the least amount of problems and am considering going back to it....BUT....should I just go ahead and try the .96 (though from reading the forums--it also has dropped calls issues?). So...instead of my weeding through a gazillion forum threads, can we make a poll...something like "Which OS has given you the LEAST amount of problems (dropped calls, errors, disappearing call logs aka memory issues, upgrading difficulties)?"

If that is too complex, then people can comment specifically what issue in the thread...instead of going back and forth between different OS threads....since those OS threads tends to mention different OS problems anyway. A big puzzled mess I think!

Frankly, I've never had a problem with dropped calls when I was getting a good signal. There are lots of places around here that don't get good signal, but that's not really the OS's problem.

Overall, I've been very happy with .96. No dropped calls and the features I need. Haven't tried .101 yet.
    As always, just my opinion...

I also have never had an issue with dropped calls. I am running the .101 OS and it seems to be very stable. Its very solid, fixes a few minor annoying bugs, added bigger SD support. I have had zero dropped calls, but I am also in a few good service area.

AFAIK, there are no problems with the .101 OS so far. Nothing being deleted, no dropped calls, installs always go smoothly.

i like .94 but i am having a few problems with dropped calls and signal strength, but when i use my bluetooth, i havent really encountered any problems, its without the bluetooth when i get problems, which doesnt make much sense. as far as memory loss and all that like I said, i dont have any problems.

yeay 101 for me is working great, with rogers i have quite a few new features added which is great. Like MMS support and such. so for canadians here this is defenetly the best os out to date, for others, well im not sure, but i have not have expirienced droped calls, and the memory leak i belive was fixed with 94 or something :S

Re: Create a poll for OS reliability?

I never had any dropped call issues with .94 or .96. Bumping up to .101 now, we'll see how that works. So far it sounds pretty good from others who have used it.

So far no problems with .96. Will check out .101 though.

Upgraded to .101. It's much faster.

Re: Create a poll for OS reliability?

I'm thinking of upgrading to .101 now. According to the .101 thread, the dropped calls issue on past OS's are not always due to having a bad signal. I live in a metro city with good signal strength all the way around and have not had this particular problem for ANY past phone I've had in the last 7 years. As a person has described in that post, it's not really a "dropped" call but a "dead silence" call issue. I would then have to hang up and redial.

yea same with me, no dropped calls, but as far as speed and fluid operation I'd say .101 works the best.

I had a call that lasted 26 minutes today on my .101! not like it's impressive or anything but it is to me. So far so good. SPEED is awesome for the .101
