    Hi,

Welcome to the Stacks. To change your profile options, go to Profiles, Edit (whichever profile you want to edit), and select each option for which you would like to have a different tone or effect.

What is the BB messenger alert labeled as in the options? Mine doesn't make any sound at all when I'm on normal profile for some reason.. I need to change it but can't find it

Blake don't feel stoopid. I had my BBerry for a month (and a half not liking the fact I can't make my MMS and SMS come up as different sounds) before I found out the Edit Profile thing.

Everyone is new at some point. There are excellent "How to" guides here on the forum so look those up or do a search if you have a question and then post if you can't find it. Everyone is here to help.

Good luck and welcome to the Blackberry world.

I found the info out using the "Help" icon. This websites great too. I like the fact there's stackers in here who actually work in some sort of BB Support, and well as people who just know they're stuff. I love this site... its actually my new favorite. I just used it for downloads until the other day I answered a question I knew the answer to, now I can't stop reading the threads!

Yeah I've been replying for the last week or so and already have over 50. So when do I get to start posting my own threads instead of replying all the time?

I guess when you have something to post... Does it not allow you to start a thread?

Hi Justyn, you can already start your own threads, you have enough posts to do so, just an FYI

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~just in tools go to start new thread I believe and if you access your pinstack account using your BB. Point your BB browswer to ota.pinstack.com get rid of the www. It will set things up a lot easier for you and you'll have a lot more fun on the stack forum.

Keep stacking, its an addiction, believe me
