Complete 8120 Overhaul question
I just recently bought a T-Mobile 8120 off of ebay. I currently am a happy AT&T subscriber, so I am keeping my AT&T service. I already have entered my unlock code into the phone, and it has allowed me to make calls and all that. I still have all of these garbage T-Mobile applications on my phone, and I'm just wondering what I must do to complete overhaul this phone to AT&T and make it never remember where it once started. Thank you for the help.
You should be able to delete any of the TMO app's without issue. Use your Desktop Manager or just go to OPTIONS - Advanced - Applications.
Normally many of them would get pushed back with the service books, but instead you will get the AT&T garbage instead
You need to note that the splash screen on start up will always say T Mobile...that is hard coded...
Is there any way to have the icons change? I have this pink T for all of my ATT apps now and it's really annoying looking. Also, shouldn't I not be able to use AIM on the ATT network, but the program is still there? I thought that was a service book issue.
ATT finally allowed AIM on their network just in the last day or so.
Sweet timing, dude.
