    Well i live in India and blackberry phones are not launched in here...but i got one from my best friend...but here no internet service is available for my device...i got some free content,,,like apps, themes and other files that are in JAR/JAD format...for E.G. OTA download

    My Question is :if i get them install by bluetooth...will they be get installed???
    cos application loader does not support JAD/JAR Files

    i will be waiting for your answer!!!!

    hi jaspreet, you can get a BIS from airtel or hutch. It is a post paid service you will need to contact their sales center in your city.

    you can install applications using blackberry deskop manager but, only the applications complied for RIM.

    Jaspreet,

    To update/add to your pearl with desktop manager you need to download the zip file and extract it. THis will give you a .alx and a .cod file in a new folder (on your desktop). Then you can use the application loader in desktop manager to add your app's themes, etc.
