This one says it works with the 7100t and the 8100 series, it's not free though....about $13 It's called Blackberry alerts.....I have not tried it but it says on their page you can control LED colors. Maybe this will be what you're looking for.....

OK if you go to the Handango link and click on check compatability, search by manufacturer and then Blackberry pics of the different models come up and the 8120, 8130, are compatable but when you click 8110 it says not compatable...sorry

    Thats a pity

From what I am aware the program that I am talking about is like color pearl but for the indicator light so instead of a green flashing light you can change it to blue for example

Well, the only other program I found that says it will change the LED like you are talking about is eMobile color pearl, but it also works with 8100,8120,8130, but does not list the 8110 on it's compatability list...it will flash blue while your bluetooth is on if you have one but I know that's not what you wanted.....

Good find, and it's compatable with the 8110 which is what Slimpy has....

if it is compatible with 8110 that would be great, as it is much smaller and cheaper. I could not find any references to 8110 though. That is why I removed this from my previous post. Well you can always check if trial will work before buying

emobile color pearl don't change the LED indicator, only the trackball, atleast I coudn't figure out where, the fact that the application took aprox 500kb alone was another reason to delete it.

Kendog....what model do you have? I have an 8100, and I downloaded "Blinkberry", but it will only change the Signal Indicator...not the indicator for messages/emails and such. but Blinkberry also has a Flashlight

Re: Changing The Color On The Signal Indicator

I use the Blinkberry demo as a flashlight also. (free)
I also use Blackberry Alerts from Handango.com (i think it was like $11 or something close to that).
Blackberry Alerts allows you to change the LED indicator for incoming calls, e-mails, text messages, etc. Well worth the money.

I love it because I can quickly glance at my phone and know what I missed, and it blinks way faster then the regular red indicator.

There is no free version of Blackberry Alerts at the moment.
