    change mp3 quality to make files smaller?

    when i had my sony ericsson w810 the program to tranfer files let you change the quality of the mp3 so u could fit more on the card..does blackberry do this also

    like instead of 192 kbps i changed it to 64

    Yep - I think 64 is the smallest I was able to get to play, but that low will not be as good as the 128+. I only go that low for ringtones.

    Also you can convert them to M4A files and save a bit more room. It plays those as well, and was able to go as low as 32 on them. You could even try converting one or two over to WMA and see how that sounds and saves room - I have not done this one yet.

    ive tried putting a wmz file on my phone..it didnt play
