i actually just stuck my pearl in the case that i got for my samsung t629 and it fit. and because of the magnetic flap, the sleep mode works! my advice, see if there is one for a similar size/shape phone that might go for cheaper than the BB exclusives. i spent $10 for mine out of the tmobile store.

I would also install Best Skins Ever product (www.bestskinsever.com) to protect your screen and body from minor scratches, ets. Well worth the $7 price!!

What kind of case are you looking for? A book style? Leather, etc?

i just like the rubber skins you can buy at a lot of places..you can buy them on ebay for dirt cheap. they keep it from slipping around on surfaces but still don't take away from the design of the phone!

I bought a fortte case and I think it is right up there with Vaja for a lot less. Check them out at: http://www.fortte.com/

I would respectfully disagree. I've had a few Vaja cases for other devices, and recently ordered one for my gf's Pearl. Vaja makes the nicest play-through cases of any I've seen. The fit and finish are top-notch. Looking at the fortte cases (ignoring the flip cover), the open face model has a plastic panel over the BB face. No way would I want that. And the stitching around the front screen/keyboard is cheaper than the smooth turned-in edges around the screen and keyboard on the Vaja, which is one of their more elegant features. Frankly, the fortte case looks like one of the many sold by the $5 street vendors here in NYC. The Vajas, on the other hand, are simply smooth and refined. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but you sometimes get what you pay for.

OMW, aren't there laws against making a Pearl look that bad?

    Re: case suggestions

Well I bought the vertical flip case and many of my co-workers are Vaja cases and I find them extremely similar. I have never owned/seen the open face ones and would agree that a plastic cover of the screen would make the case look bad.

The vertical flip case is well crafted and lines up perfectly and makes the phone look incredible.

I bought this one to be exact, but not in black: http://www.fortte.com/scr/showproduct.php/286?type=0

    Re: case suggestions

i like the rubber skins and i like the normal pouches. T-mobile has a 3 pack of rubber skins (black, white, pink) for 19.99$ and we have pouches for the pearl that ranges from 19.99-24.99$
just like synik103 said the samsung t629 cases work and the motorola pouches work as well!
