    Question Can't load previous apps/themes

    I have a Sprint 8130 Pearl, and hadn't loaded any themes or apps for a few weeks using the DM. Yesterday, I was trying to re-load some themes I'd used before, but kept getting that message, "No additional applications designed for your device were found." I searched some forums, and saw the recommendation to install Device Software, as well as reinstall DM. I uninstalled and reinstalled both, rebooted everything, still got the same error. Someone on another forum suggested I delete any residual files, after uninstalling, then reinstall - to ensure a clean install. I haven't done that yet, but just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue, or has any other feedback. I spent so much time yesterday uninstalling/reinstalling...

    I had the same prob before you need to install the hand held software also for your pearl. Key me find the link for you. Brb

    By "handheld software," do you mean the OS? I already had the most recent build, but reinstalled it yesterday, confirmed on my device that the OS loaded was most recent. I'm fairly apt with BBs, used to provide tech support on the legacy devices... but this is driving me up the wall!

    What they don't tell you is that you need the hand held soft ware plus the os CD that came with your pearl in order to install programs! Took me about a month to figure it out! But the link I send you is the handheld software. So install it and run your desktop and now your all set!

    Do you have the Device Operating System installed on your desktop? Not having the OS also installed on your desktop is the most common cause of this error....

    Actually the link in your post is broken.

    @OP you need to install the same OS version as is on the device to your desktop.
