Can't get phone to ring or vibrate

It seems as if I have somehow muted the ringer and vibrations for incoming calls. (I can see the call coming in, but the phone won't notify me.) Seemingly no problem setting profile to the setting, but no response. I did get a low battery vibration earlier, so the vibrator element is working. I don't think I changed to a different profile, but am not sure how to tell. Any help would be appreciated.

Bill, in your main aplications window, the one with all the icons.. scroll around and find the icon for the profiles and it will tell you what mode your in suchs as mine says Profiles (Loud)

see what yours says, let us know, and we will go from there.

TO change it, just press your trackball on the profile icon and select the one you want

I think a battery pull is in order if you don't find a problem with your profiles.

Download SoftReset. It is free and equivalent to a battery pull but with less hassle. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestions. Profiles are set correctly; tried the battery pull. It is almost as if I hit a "mute" button somewhere (not the physical mute button). I recall a screen at some point that allows me to set the "notifications" for various features. Is that still there, or is it subsumed in the profiles settings? I can't seem to find it. Thanks

I get to the editing stage, but nothing happens when I push the trackball (which works for all other functions, and is clean, etc.). It is as if the profile editing function has been deleted, which I don't think I did (or could do).

Check your service book. If you don't see all settings, send it. Or, just send it once, and after you receive the response from the server, try editing profiles again
