    Call quality sucky?

    So lately people have been telling me that they cant hear me on my phone. I can hear them perfectly clear but they say I keep fading in and out. This is with 2-4 bars. I even did a test with someone sitting across the room from me and heard them perfectly clear on my pearl but they said they heard every other word from me.

    What gives? Faulty Pearl?

    some people tell me that then I realize the distance the phone is from my mouth or something is covering it .. etc.. but if you use bluetooth or anythign I have no idea.

    Nope, this is without bluetooth talking normally into the phone. Not far away or chewing food at the same time either.

    Well, here' it is 7 months after this post, and I have exactly the same problem with my 8703e Blackberry -- actually, I'm on my second one , since tech support replaced the first one- but both 8703e's have the fading in and out problem reported by just about everyone I call. I can hear the people I call just fine, but they report that I sound like I'm under water, far away, and fading in and out. Did you ever get this resolved? I am still awaiting a response (after 2 days of reporting every problem call,which is just about all of them) from Verizon tech support.

    Just wanted to note that both my husband and I have pearls through Tmo and do not have this issue. Maybe its the phone itself....

    Having this problem with my GF's 8800
    Seems to be better for a bit after a battery pull, then gets bad again. We are going to try re-installing the OS (haven't had time yet) because I had the same problem with Roger's OS on my pearl, but not with TMO .64 or the new ATT
    Anyway, try an OS re-install, then a reinstall of a different OS and if none of that works we are sending the phone back for a replacement

    T-Mobile ... i am not suprised. Its not the phones fault.
