    Calendar duplicates on 8110

I just got my new 8110 and after syncing for first time I noticed today that there are 2 versions of my calendar on blackberry. One for the device and one for my personal email. The appointments are the same, the dates are the same but 2 calendars. Anyone know why and how to either combine or delete one? Its really annoying having 2 and it makes looking at my calendar difficult. Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

I would try doing a calendar RSET by going:

    Calendar>Menu>Options>R-S-E-T

This will reset your calendar and reload your appts back up. Lets see if this will solve your problem.

do u mean that I need to hold shift while entering RSET? because I tried and all it did was show both calendars on screen, which seems to be default

just wondering if anyone else with an 8110 has this with calendars:

    device default
    your personal calendar

They both are the same and show the same info but I can't seem to delete one or the other. Surely someone else has had experience w this....???

You shouldn't have to hold the shift button. Because you have the predictive text keyboard you'll need to push e/r key twice and the a/s key twice as well.

    Go to Options>Default Options>Default Services.

Are the settings in there the same as the calendar you're syncing with? Sounds like they're not the same.

If that's the case, you can either clear your calendar the way BES Noob has suggested or through Desktop Manager.

In DM, click on Backup and Restore and then go to Advanced.

Once the database information populates on the righthand side of the screen, scroll down where you see Calender and Calendar - All. Select each of those and press the Clear button.

Make sure your default services are set up to the same account you have in Outlook and do your sync again.
