Ever since I got the new pearl the buttons on the last two rows when pressed. It seems that they rub against the bottom plastic of the case. Has anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, I had it. It seems to work itself out in time. Might just be a tolerance issue with the keys. I've had mine since it had come out, and it doesn't squeak at me anymore!

Btw, mine was a problem, particularly with the spacebar.

    I ignore the noise!

But seriously, of the three BlackBerry models I've had, 7100r, 7130g, and now the 8100, the Pearl is by far the noisiest keyboard of them all.

I suppose that quality was sacrificed for size!

Lol@ my pearl squeeking as I type this message. It does get quieter the more you actually type on it, but the spacebar does have the tendency to get a little noisey. But so does my del, and l buttons. But I know for a fact those are the buttons I apply the most pressure too while I'm typing.

Mine doesn't squeek... That's strange, I've had 2 7100 series bbs in the past and I enjoy the surface and quality of the keyboard most on my pearl, guess I got lucky
