So I pulled my phone out of my pocket and what do ya know.... The little silver button to release the battery cover is sticking up. So I carefully removed the back cover and attempted to push it back into place. It went back into place but falls right out. On top of that I had the itty bitty spring betweent fingers until it fell into one of the holes in the back of the phone. I don't know what to do any ideas? Will the little piece stay in place without the spring... The battery cover doesn't slip off but is it going to stay on? Anyone have this happen to them? Sorry for the long story but I'm so anal about my phone I'm kind of freaking out :|

i had the same thing happen to me. i put the silver part back in the phone and closed the battery cover.
I really havent had a problem with it. You only have to push it in a little more when you want to remove the cover.

That is an issue with the Pearl. that lock also pops out of the phone. Alot of people I know have started using the snug rubber covers to help with that rather the do a warranty exchagne for a Referb Unit.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

They should have these original covers for sale on eBay or any BB store. Maybe consider a new one.

The Cover is not the issue, it is the Locking clip on the phone its self. The cover has a Little plastic, Tab on the end for the Clip if this is gone then yes a New back cover would be the issue, But he was stating the button on the phone itsself if I read right
