    Broken Pearl

I was at the beach the other day and right after going to buy food, I made the stupid mistake of going in the water with my phone and wallet. My phone stopped working but the LED was a constant green. Does this green light mean anything? and is water damage covered under the Pearl's warranty for T-Mobile? Also, is there anyway I can get all of my information such as my contacts off my phone because I had them saved to my phone and not to my sim or computer and I had a lot of numbers on it. Thanks for any help ypu can give me.

i dont think water damage is covered under any warranty, however find a nice sunny place and let it dry out and see if that help, its been known to work

yeah just let it dry for a couple of days then try and trun it back on..most people make the mistake of turning it back right after a water accident that is a no no. always let it dry

I let it dry for a day and a half and nothing changed. Does anybody know how much it would cost to repair it if it wasn't under warranty and if I would lose all of my information that's on it or not.

you'd probably be better buying a new one, rather than fixing this one. The main board porbably took a nice dump on ya.

Not sure about t-mob but w/ us there is no insurance for pda's and BB's as well. Time to fork out about $350. That stinks!
