Does your pearl not work when it comes to sending things via Bluetooth to some phones but with other phones it seems to pair easily??? If so why is it like this? Is there an option for me to fix this?
    Thanks

    Re: Bluetooth

ive sent things from my pearl to my sidekick. it will ask for the passcode which should be 0000 or 1234. and once the two things are paired you can transfer contacts and such with no problem. but they both have to be in pairing mode. what is the other device your trying to transfer to from the pearl

    Re: Bluetooth

Ive transferred many stuff through Bluetooth but for some reason it won't work with the LG Fusic and a samsung slider phone. My friends and I have been trying to transfer music and videos but it won't work but with one of my friends razrs it works with a breeze. Sometimes the file will transfer to the LG Fusic but it says file not supported or it will say file not valid. But it supports mp3 cause he has mp3 songs on his phone already so I don't know what's going on.

The phones sometime won't pair up and sometimes they do pair up and when they do they won't let us transfer any files such as music and videos

    Re: Bluetooth

well are you trying to send or receive?

After making sure your devices are paired...Go into MEDIA, which ever media you want to send or receive, hit menu, then scroll down to send or receive using bluetooth.

    Hope that helps.

    Re: Bluetooth

When u go to Options/Bluetooth/Menu/Options make sure u have these settings:

    Discoverable - Yes
    Allow outgoing calls - Always
    Address book transfer - Unabled

Just make sure u really are conneted and u both can see each other on your phones. If that wont work, Im guessing u might have an OS issue or some.

    Re: Bluetooth

I did that too but do u think it could be the governement secureity thing people were talking about in one there cause their phones can search through ur whole media so I think maybe that's the problem

Ha no that's not it at all. The governement is not monitoring what is being sent over bluetooth since I mean come on let's face it... Almost everything is being opted to work on bluetooth. Its probabl rhe fact that although the phones you named are media focused phones they simply may not support the type of media you are trying to send or the files you are trying to send may be locked..
