This might be some old news but I had some problems figuring out how to block my number and couldn’t find any threads about it but finally got it on my own. If anyone needs it here it is

Hit the Green Call Btn > Menu Btn > Options > General Options > Turn "Restrict My Identity" On

This maybe common knowledge to most, but you can always dial *67 followed by the number you're calling to block your ID (on most all networks)

    Yeah!
Does *67 cost any additional money?
Like that *69 costs like $0.75?

If you want to call your friends while your caller ID is blocked...add *31# before the number and it will show your number to your friends or family or anyone you want. I save it for each contact.

If you have a ringtone associated for that friend..it won't activate if its saved using that format only. What I did was save the original number and then the formatted number in my address book. When you get a call it will activate the associated ringer.

That's not true on my BB. I have it set to "Yes" & my number stays restricted.
