    BlackJack to Pearl

I've just moved over to the BB family and am very happy with my Pearl. I took the micro SD card from my BlackJack and put it in my Pearl. The Pearl does not recognize any of the content on the card, pics, ringtones etc. Is it because its a different OS?

    Thanks,

essentially, yes. You need to back up your card, then install it in the pearl and format it (options.media card.menu.format). Make sure that the media card support is set to ON.

Then enable mass storage, hook it all up to your desktop and the card will show up as a removable drive and you can move all of your content to the appropriate folders.

I've had the Pearl two days. So far i like it better, but need more time with it. The Pearl camera is not as good, and there's no video, but functionally, i like the BB OS better than window.

I have been an avid user of WM5 & 6 for years. I have never had an interest or been interested in the BB OS. BUT....now that I have a BB, I will never go back to WM-anything! BB totally blows all the competition out of the H2O! Windows CE, Windows Mobile, IPhone...they cannot compete with the options of the RIM.
