    Blackberry VS. Blackjack

Sup stackers. I had a customer come in to see me today (at T-Mobile) and ask how the blackjack compared to the BB Pearl. I was just wondering if anyone could offer me some insight as to how they compare such as is there anyone who has used both or possibly just could tell me anything useful about the BlackJack. I tried the Cingular website and the only details that it explained were the fact that it is windows mobile 5.0, 3g, etc. (duh!) Thanks for any input!

VERY poor battery life. so bad in fact that it comes w/ a standard and extended battery from the manufacturer.

hubby had a black jack and I made him switch to the 8800 (I'm so mean! LOL! The 8800 was a bday present, he has no regrets) the Black Jack has no push email function and he couldn't get the IM to work...it was a head ache! LOL!That and you can't abbreviate the name.

I can just see the conversation.

" I have the BB 8800, what do you have?"
    "Oh, I have the BJ"

    HA HA HA

That's funny they are kind of big.

My friend had one said it always froze up and took forever to do anything. She got rid of it after a week

    Re: Blackberry VS. Blackjack

Really the biggest difference is the OS.. I've had a handful of BB's in the past and decided to try the BlackJack a few months ago. A few people at work had them, and in the few minutes I used them, they were OK... After 2 days, I gave up and ordered a Pearl - I just couldn't adopt to using Windows Mobile.. the thing with the BB Operating System is that its logical, things are (usually) easy to get to, easy to access.. with Windows Mobile, its like Windows on a phone..

It comes down to preference, but if you're selling either or both to people - the best thing to do is let them play with 'em both.
(aside from the other shortcomings other people have pointed out above).
