    BlackBerry video encoder question.

    Hi all,

I use the Blackberry video encoder, and there's an option to encode a DVD. However, it only allows you to point to a VIDEO_TS folder that's on an actual DVD. Any way to make it point at a VIDEO_TS folder on a hard drive? I've got movies that I've ripped to the hard drive rather than on a DVD.

    Re: BlackBerry video encoder question.

Well I'm really not sure how to do this but with the blackberry video encoder but there are a few other apps that will take a DVD from the DVD and then copy it to your pc hard drive. From here you can use another app, a video encoding program, to encode it to AVI and from there you can put it on your bb through DM.

    Hope this helps,

    Re: BlackBerry video encoder question.

If u're interested, search the forum with these keywords "Clone DVD" and "AnyDVD"

Those are the two softwares u will need to encode and remove the protection from DVDs.
