    Blackberry pearl, or???

well, i'm torn as if i should go with the Pearl or the "dash".. always a tough choice, can anyone give me any feedback as to why they chose the pearl over the dash?

    Also.. a few other questions..

anything I should know? i've used em' all (sidekicks, treos, 8125s, SE, and now this).. will i be happy with it? or should I go with the sidekick III instead like my wife?

Can i have my yahoo.com emails sent to the pearl and access them or no? Any downloads or tips that I need to know?

Will I have any compatiblity issues with using my powerbook with the Pearl?

Can I multitask with the AIM client? (i.e. can I be browsing the internet, and go back and forth from internet to AIM without the browser resetting each time like it did on my treo 650?)

    thanks guys and girls

Just a little FYI from what I read in Business week.

TMobile apparently doesn't support the BlackBerry Connect Service.

Can I multitask with the AIM client?

    yes you can.

im not sure what the dash is, but BBs are very dependable and whats better then push email? you can also have your yahoo.com emails instantly pushed to your pearl.

go with the BB, you wont be sorry.

blackberry connect service is blackberry service for non-blackberry devices. Cingular offers it but its more expensive than the comparable blackberry-device services.

the form factor on the Pearl is more visually pleaseing then the Dash with a big head kinda look.

Yes you can have AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo (all pre-installed) and google messenger on them.
you need to search for any info you want regarding googletalk but its a cake walk to it them up and going.

yes you can multi-task with no problem. As soon as I knew the 700p couldn't multi-task I ditched it in a heartbeat.

I hope this helps in your decision!
