30 is all that is supported by the built in client.

IM+ works fairly well, however, I don't like the notication settings. [IE: LED only blinks once and no new message icon]. Hopefully, RIM will have it's AIM app out soon. I guess I'll have to sit tight until then.

The built in client works on text messages if I am not mistaken(at least that's how it works with 99% of t-mobile phones.) Although you can access one that uses data, and that is through T-Zones, but I belive you have to have the 5.99 data plan on your account(so you can access T-Mobile web). Hope that helps!

You can use Ramble, its free and it uses data instead of text messages. Just search google for ramble and you should find it.
