    Question BLACKBERRY Messenger keeps deleteing conversations

    hi guys and girls , this may be an old issue ? but i just got a new 8110 unit , and since i have had it , every time i use BBM ,,, IT KEEPS deleteing the converstion without notice ! i can see the other person , has recived the message but it deletes out of my window , infact it completely shuts the whole converstaion down ,,,, its such a pain in the bum ,,, so any help would be great ,, i never had this issue on my old 8100 !!!!!

    First thing I would look at is free space on your device...options/status The Pearls don't have much to spare and this is why messeges and other things disappear. It trys to keep enough file free to operate.

    it says 2286754 bytes ?? in the file free section ? what does that mean ?

    You should start looking for ways to free up memory when you get below 10mb. According to your post, you are a little over 2mb.

    There's a thread in the Technical Support link in my signature with instructions on how to free up some memory.

    Do you store e-mails and texts on the device? How about your phone log? Do you ever clear that out?

    Check out that thread and see what you come up with after trying some of those tools and a device reset.

    Are you using any new 3rd party applications that could be running in the background, eating up memory?

    How about pictures or ringtones? Do you store those on your device or on a media card?

    seems to be all ok now that i have cut some apps and cleared the logs ,, thanks
