379 Euro branded with o2 (from o2 Germany)
399 Euro unbranded at E-PLus Germany
both prices for unlocked devices without any contracts of data plans. Price is the same for both prosumer and enterprise devices.

There are a few 8120 from E-Plus onm German ebay, average selling price is around 350 Euro

maybe this is helping a little bit

What does the 8120 do that the 8100 doesn't? WiFi? Is it worth the 200-300 dollar increase in price?

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Yes the 8120 will have WIFI. It will always be more expensive when the new device comes out.

That new pearl will probaly start at 300 us with contract. That is my guess. It is well worth the increase for the wifi. Many people are using the UMA.

Thumbs up Re: Blackberry 8120! Where and how much?

    My 1st post!

I sell the Pearl Mk2 and the Wifi plus some minor changes overall make it very sweet. The camera is from the Curve as far as I can tell plus it takes upto 4GB of flash mem and right now is packed with both a 1GB card and a leather slip case. I had to buy mine from RIM as the Pearl didn't come with one.

Having had an 8100 for about 11 months and having had a fiddle with the 8120 I think it is worth the upgrade. The keys feel nicer for typing, a bit flatter all round and the blue we have it in looks good. On the whole not a massive differance but if you like the 8100 and don't fancy moving to a curve or 88xx its not a bad upgrade.

One thing I will say... IMHO your better off getting the offical network versions of handset even if it means having to wait a bit longer for it. I think a GPS/non wifi pearl 2 maybe coming out, heard it on the blackberry vine.

    First post ends!
