I bought one. Originally, the pictures depicted a belt clip, now they do not as it does not have on. In my opinion, it is totally useless without one.

Is it good if you want to keep the phone in your pocket? Does it clean the screen? Is it very small?

I think the main purpose of this is for it to stay protected while it is in your pocket. I think it is a great idea especially since people look like dorks with it hanging on their belts.

Can you pull out the BB with one hand, leaving the pocket "in your pocket"? Or must it be a two-handed operation?

Got one of these, lambskin leather I think it is and it is a RIM product. It has a belt clip thing but I got rid of that, it is not 1990. I like it it has the sensor which tells the phone to lock in the holster etc. and keeps it safe in the pocket. Doesn't protect it if it falls and lands on its edge, so a skin, case might help.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ya know, since I put on my full pearl skin from bestskinsever.com I forgot about the RIM leather pocket. It kept getting delayed. I may look into it now that it's available.

Still trying to find out how you remove the phone. Is it easy to take out of your pocket with one hand? Does the holster easily STAY in your pocket when you attempt to remove the Blackberry with one hand?

Just trying to find out which holster is easiest to use. I like the idea of Keeping It In My Pocket

    Thanks!

I am very disappointed that the pocket doesn't have a clip of any kind. I hope they come out with one, but there is an alternative.

These might help for some people who don't mind ruining the case slightly for the added function, or just throwing one of these on your phone directly.

I ordered a Krusell Leather Case. I'm still waiting for it. I shouldn't have ordered it over the holidays... But it looks nice. Comes with a detachable swivel belt clip.

It looks like the Krusell Leather case has a full vinyl clear front cover, except for the roller ball. If so, does that impede typing? Has anyone tried typing through one of these?

    Thanks!

    Re: BlackBerry 8100 Leather Pocket

Ok the Blackberry branded accessarys are useless. I am 0 for 2.
First the 8100 BB case is too small for the phone. And the phone
sticks in the cases so you need 2 hands to get it out. The Tmo
case covers the screen 100% and the phone slides in and out easily.
The BB case covers only 85 % of the screen! Returned the dud.

Next the BB stereo earphones. They dont feel comfortably in the ear,
too big , esp with the foam covers. And by the way nothing on them
says RIMM or BB. Returned them. Volume so-so.

Next if you want to use the MP3 player you will either need more a
sensitive headset OR increase the gain on your mp3 file. I have
Adobe premier pro, adobe audition and canopus procoder so thats
easy to make the volume acceptable.

For the headphone issue, I'm just purchasing a 2.5mm male to 3.5mm female adaptor for $5, so I could just use regular headphones with my Pearl. You just have to make sure that it's a 4-conductor otherwise it won't work. Even if it says it's a stero to stero. YOU NEED 4-CONDUCTOR!

The only thing with this is I heard some people having complaints about the battery cover on the Pearl being too loose and coming off too easily. I'd hate to ruin the back of a Pearl just for it to jiggle loose and the phone tumble towards the pavement/water/rocks. :/
