Bell email messages ( some ) not arriving on BB 8230
Not sure where I can ask this question and if in the correct forum...
My wife often doesn't get all her email on her BB 8230 ( some don't get sent to phone for some reason ). She checks on thunderbird and she sees some emails she hasn't received from some people.
What can be the problem with Bell BIS ?
Is the email address one of the @carrier.blackberry addresses or through another service like GMail? In either case, you may want to resend the service books to the device. If that doesn't solve the problem and the address is through another service rather then the first I mentioned, delete it through the BIS setup page and re-add it, then re-send the books.
Another thing you should check in T-Bird is Tools>Account Settings>Server Settings. Make sure you're saving messages on the server for at least a day to allow time for all messages to be pushed to your device.

Although now we no longer have the option to resend service books in our carrier's BIS site ( I guess it's done auto )
But will check the settings that u mention.
It's not the carrier address it's actually Bell's internet service
I can help...1st - on the Bell Bis site to resend service books click "help" on the left hand site. Resend service books will be there.
Is it a Sympatico or Bell.net email account?

Did you check those account settings in T-Bird?
If it's still not working I agree with Roger. Probs the settings in tbird. Sympatico works well with BIS.
I've resent service books and will see over the next little while if it happens again.
The settings in TB are ok
