yes...did it all the time on my 7130c. I think it has something to do with pushing "enter".

If you can avoid actually selecting anything in BBtoday, that should prevent freezing. But that's why i stopped using it...that bug is a pretty damn big one.

I have been having the same issue (but only recently). I find if you go to turn off the handheld, then hit the abort key (before it shuts down), that it unfreezes. Not the most effective of fixes, I know--but it works for me!

the other thing to do is to use the app switcher. The BB isn't locked up...it's the BBtoday program, so you can still switch apps.

Eventually you'll get a BBtoday shutdown error message though. just hit 'ok' and let BBtoday shut down.

    Re: BBToday Freezing

I know this is an old post, but on the off chance somebody comes across this I figure I'll post.

I'm having this problem also, with BBToday freezing. It gets stuck and I cant do anything except turn the backlight on. The only way I've found to "fix" it is to remove and reinstall the battery. I'm very new to the blackberry world... just got my first one last week, its an older model... but it suits my purposes. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue or help prevent it would be greatly appreciated.
