As of right now there are no 3rd party mediaplayer's for the Pearl besides BBTV which only plays their media clips, Im not sure if WMA will be available in the future.

I hope somebody makes one. The current version is, of course, stable.... but sooooo limited in terms of control. It would be awesome if it supported flash content too.

Flipside and xPlayer worked on my 8130. Will it work on the Pearl?

As far as I know wavs have to be converted with the roxio manager on the desktop software

BlackBerry Media Player can play wavs no problem.

xPlayer should also be able to play wmas:

xPlayer is fantastic. Very easy to use.

This guy is resurrecting old threads with the same incoherent response. What gives?

Ok, I was caught in this thread originally because it was announced a new version of xplayer was available. Yet all I see on the site is version 1.0.1, which is what I already had, and I downloaded this long before the thread was started. When I look at the "about" option in xplayer it says I have 1.0.1. Im confused, is there a version newer than 1.0.1? How did I get this version before the thread was announced?
