I never signed up for blackberry email, i went through the tutorial and setup but never finished. now i try to do so and it says my phone is already registered with blackberry email. then it says i can send my information to my email but i don't have one so i sent it to my regular email and nothing came up. after a while it told me to enter in my pin and esn so i did and again it said my device was already registered when i never finished the setup. i really want bb email what do i do?

Is your blackberry brand new? Or was it using any service before this? And you create your blackberry email by going to the blackberry site which you have a link in your bb an icon which says E-mail settings.

Are you working on line or on the device? In my blog you will find instructions to setup your account on line after you have started the process on the device. perhaps that will help.

Something similar happened to me when I was using BES on my curve and then it fell and got damaged. I got a 8700r and put my sim in it and I was not getting my emails. I went to the blackberry+provider site. And changed my device from the options by entering the pin number of my 8700r. That's the only scenario I've experienced.

Sounds like it was purchased at the store and returned. If that's the case the last person probably set up a BIS account then returned it. Did it seem used at all? The store probably wiped the device but that wouldn't clear the BIS account. You'll have to get in touch with your company - probably tech support and have them delete the BIS account from you're PIN. Then you can start fresh.

No this phone was perfectly brand new it just came out of the box and packages it had the stickers on it no scratches nothing. The only way it would have been used was if I said I wanted to purchase a refurb but I started a whole new contract. Whole new phone

Try doing a handheld wipe: options > security options > general settings > menu "wipe handheld"

This may get rid of the glitch...

    Cellular South BIS site:

    https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=csouth1

Follow GaryF blog to set up your email from your PC through the BIS site:

    http://forums.pinstack.com/f16/how_t...account-76716/

You will have to "set up account" first and then follow the rest through!

If you still have some issues report back,
    Regards
