Yes, there are two ways, the really hard way, and the hard way.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to transfer contacts to the SIM Card. On the SIM itself, you can store one number per entry. If you have a friend (Ted), and you have three numbers for Ted (Home, Work, BB), you have to have three entries on the SIM to save all three.

You can do this one at a time, transfering from your address book to the SIM, or you can do a search for a SIM card read/write program (http://www.simcardmagic.com/main.asp,mode,1,,.htm as an example).

I'm sure this isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's how it's done at the moment. If others know of a better way, I'd love to hear of it myself.

There is also more "normal" procedure. Sync all contacts with Outlook. Check that mapping is correct, so Outlook pulls all contact info from BB device (I had that problem yesterday... info was transferred, but not all of it, since some fields in mobile phone were not mapped with Outlook fields).
After that, when you get new phone, sync new phone with Outlook. You'll loose nothing (if you check mapping again).

SIM address book is simply too limited for any modern contacts storage, and selecting only 220 numbers* (not contacts!) is simply PITA...

*220 numbers is current limit on T-Mobile Croatia SIM card

    Re: BB Contacts to SIM

@ nova609: around 175 contacts? OK. But how many NUMBERS?
1 number per contact? Perfect. Than you can do it.
If you have more then one number per contact (i.e. mobile number, work number and home number, plus let's say e-mail)... forget it. As I wrote before, most SIM cards support some 200 NUMBERS! So forget e-mail... Forget adresses, birthdays, notices...
You can sync your BB with Outlook (and Outlook Express, I think) via USB cable or BT. You need Desktop Manager, OFC...
