lol it's ok, the home screen is the default screen that you see with all the icons for applications (you get to it from hitting escape a few times or END)

The home screen on your pearl, not the mac. Just in case that is what you were asking.

    Original Lucy....

    ...will u marry me?

    Thanks for clarifying.

Cliff~thanks for hanging in here with me.

Both: went in to home screen/etc and formatted card, etc.

Plugged in USB to BB, then to Macbook...nada. Which is to say, I synched as usual but didn't receive any prompts or mssg's regarding the memory card.

May as well throw this in~anyone know why it synchs my calendar entries, but not the "notes" I make to the calendar entries?

And/or, in Entourage there's a Notes icon in which I have seven or eight entries, but that icon/those entries don't show up as in the home screen for BB?

Taking whatever I can get and grateful for it,

    ~Dana

    Re: Bb 8100+mp3

hmm, sorry it is not working so easily for you, strange that the Macbook isn't seeing it. Are you running Parallels? When was the last time you rebooted your Macbook? Give that a try...

and sorry I may have missed it, you did enable mass storage like earlier?

    Cliffr 39...You Won't Believe This...

...I plug in the USB again, just to double check.

    Nada.

In fact, PM for BB crashes. Grrrr.

I forget to unplug BB from MacBook, and reboot Mac.

What comes up on screen? A white harddrive icon for...BB!

I drag MP3 in to music folder, synch and presto. I have a new ringtone.

What I didn't tell you is my brother-in-laws a music producer. The "song" is my three year old singing one line "I'm a little teapot..." remixed to something like from the Matrix.

Its very cool. Drop me your email, I'll send you the MP3.

Least I could do by way of "thanks".

    Gratefully,

    ~Dana
