Pimp My Pearl is a cool concept, but it really slowed down my Pearl... by alot. Lots of hourglasses, took forever to do things. I took it off and it ran fine after that. I got a refund then just downloaded Color Pearl. No lighting efffects like rainbow or fade, but atleast your trackball isn't a dull white light!

Forgot to mention... as long as I'm not doing anything my battery is still at 100% by the end of the day. But those days are very rare...

I can generally go 2 days between charges, with ColorPearl active and moderate use. When I'm back in an area where I can get a full EDGE signal all the time that will probably go down because my addiction will be full-blown.

I charge my BB every other night. I talk for at least 2 hours each day, send about 20 texts, receive about 10 emails, surf the web for about 2 hours total, and keep Yahoo!Go running in the background 24/7. (awesome app, by the way). Ever since I uninstalled ColorPearl (which was very cute, but not so nice to my battery) my phone has been rejuvenated and we last together for 48 hours between charges.

Im going to have to call BULL SH** on that one. 2500 TEXT!! Lets just say on a 14 hour day that would be 178 per hour, almost 3 text per minute for 14 hours straight. Come one now!! I dont know if you think someone on here is going to be like "wow, your the man cause your do 2500 text a day" but anyone that can add and subtract would know that its nearly impossible.

Or even at 18 hours that would be 138 per hour and 2.5 text per minute for 18 hours straight. Not happening

Oh, plus you say you web browse and make calls.. There isnt enough time for you to do all that.. lol

You don't have to send one letter per msg. You can send up to 160 letters... *SCNR*

Unless you're living in a cabin in the woods without electricity, I don't understand why battery life is a big deal. I have a car charger and home charger so when I'm driving it's charging and when I'm sleeping it's charging. So as long as you get a day or so, you should be able to recharge your phone.

This was posted in another thread and no one addressed it. Maybe someone can here please...

    Why is that exactly?

and I thought this was proven untrue...

Also how often should I do that? ...every time I need to charge it? ...only the initial one time and then it's good to go for extra and longer holding power?

    Please advise. Thanks
