    Battery issues

I have read many a thread about how to get more out of your battery on the BB Pearl, but I have not been able to find anything on the conditioning of the battery. My dad has one tow and has let it die twice(completely! I know what a horror!) He is now complaining the the battery life is only good for about 1 day and they it's falling off quick. Any Ideas??? Have talked about reconditioning it, Can that be done???

    Re: Battery issues

found these two sites for you hope they help...as far as the battery losing charging potential...this is actually far more common than people think...however it's not always due to the cell being faulty but rather the pins and connectors that recharge the cells have worn out...this may be his problem TOO (not tow)...hope this helps...post back if you need more help

    Re: Battery issues

make sure he's not leaving a bunch off applications running in the background or certain things on like Bluetooth. Also if he's in a bad coverage area and the phone is constantly searching for a network that will drain the battery pretty quickly. Lithium-ion batteries shouldn't need conditioning, like the myth of letting it drain completely and then charge it up.

    good luck bassman
