What else do you have running??? Make sure you're not hitting the red phone button and just hiding apps.

Hold down ALT + Escape and see whats running.

Are you using the Stand-By Mode by holding down the Mute button on top?

Also if you are using the PC Cord versus the wall charger the charge takes longer. as the USB on the PC is only what is left over from all its systems and is very low, compaired to the BB Wall charger.

This is partially incorrect. On USB 1.0 you will barely have enough power to charge anything, though it will say it is charging. However on USB 2.0, your USB adaptor is pushing 5v with more than enough amperage to charge at the intended specification, even with a low end power supply. This is always the case, should you be drawing more amperage than your PC's power supply can handle you would start to see problems on your PC. i.e. unexpected shutdowns, etc. Your PC should be charging your Pearl at the same speed as the wall charger.

Just make sure you are charging for longer than it takes for it to click over to 100%. The device is detecting the 'surge' of power coming in from the charger, and it actually takes a while longer to fully charge the battery.

Sj022698's problem seems to be more of a usage problem. Check what applications you are running and post back.

I actually have the "auto-lock" program so it's locked most the time.
I'm going to try using the "mute" button to send it to standby instead because with the auto lock the screen comes on every time you hit a button

I would agree if its not the bluetooth and you have exhausted all other possiblities its probably time to take the battery back and get a new one.

I had the same problem. I called tmobile and I had a new battery the next day. FYI never pay the 15 bucks for shipping. I always get my packages the next day regardless.

I was having similar problem ... I took out my battery and cleaned the little metal prongs on the battery and on the phone unit itself with a little alcohol pad and it worked. My battery now charges via USB and via wall plug unit.

lemme know if that lil trick helps ...
