    Battery cover keeps sliding off.

I have had my Pearl for 3 weeks, and it seems like the battery cover has never really wanted to stay in place as well as I would like it to.

Have other had this problem? Would this be considered a manufactures defect?

Nothing new and this is one of the reason my Pearl is up for sale.

i am sorry to hear that. i have not had that problem... just that the cover blocks the clear sound of the speaker. =(

have you tried purchasing another back cover?

Yea its a commom problem Minn. I would suggest a cover or skin for your pearl. Perhaps that would help keep the back cover in place as well as helping keep your pearl knick and scratch free.....

There's a DIY, but i advise against it...

if you're missing the tab or foam, just go to the store and ask for a replacement.

I was having that problem but it doesn't really do it anymore. I just fiddled with it. Make sure there is no excess plastic, etc.

They might have addressed this issue, as I replaced my outer case with a new one after a small mishap out on the track ruined my first. The new case fits better (or maybe I installed it better than they did) and it does not slide off so easily as before.
