how long do you last with the same charge? I mean, I know having too much option reduce the charge... but let say if you keep it default setting?

what to reduce? if I want to have a decent light time on my screen! not have to push a knob everytime it shuts down to read a message lol

    thanx

Dub-d, things that really run down your battery are things like IM programs that stay on all the time. Also, if you do a lot of web browsing, that will reduce your time as well. Some people can run days on a single charge. I typically charge my BB every night whether it needs it or not as the battery does not have a memory affect.

ljbyar is correct. I also charge my pearl every night (I always need to becuase I use it a lot). There is also an extended battery made by Seidio. I will get it, but I am waiting for them to come out with a backing for the Cingular pearl, as they only have the backing for the tmobile pearl.

    Re: Battery...?

U might consider that other battery for 8100 with a speaker holes and stuff, but persoanlly me, dont like it. Standby saves more battery than keylock, also make sure u aint running any other programs in the background cause that takes some away too.

Ow and if u use it less, your battery will live longer

Another way of saving some power is to keep your bb in its cover or case(assuming that it has a magnet) as much as possible.
