    Auto Caps Driving Me Crazy!!!

    ok need to put in a password that does not start w/ a capital letter but my phone (8130) has some weird auto cap setting tuned on where it caps the first letter of the word. its driving me insane! anyone know how i can turn it off?

    you can't turn it off...you just have to go back and delete it and type it again.

    i tried that! it just does the same damn thing! kinda dumb i can't turn it off, thought this was a "smart phone" lol

    i know this sounds dumb but try putting the letter in twice the first will be in caps and the second one will be lowercase, then delete the first letter. i never had that problem at all before thats very odd

    Sorry I meant type out you password. Then scroll back delete the first letter and then type the letter and it should be in lower case. Then you can enter it.

    This only occurs on mine when you hold the key down. The CAPS shows up only to indicate it is no longer using the suretype (which I like), but I don't have the problem. I have passwords on websites that have caps for the first letter and lowercase and it is simply a matter of whether I hold the key down or not.
