I just realised that there is a attach file option that comes on the menu when you are composing messages. I saw this on another pearl. Mine does not have this option? Can somebody help?

Where are you composing these messages? Email?

Do you have the Blackberry Attachment Service installed on your BB?
Open up your Desktop Manager, Application Loader and see if it's installed.

You'll need to update your firmware. If you're with Airtel /Bharti Tele-Ventures Limited, you can get version 4.2.1.91 here.
If that's not your provider, check here for your provider's firmware site.

I think you need version 4.2.1 and an SD card to attach files.

    hi,

no i don't have this showing up in the application loader. when i go into application loader it is a 'wizard' and shows no application at all.

i also notice that although i have files (powerpoint files) in my media card, i am unable to view them on the phone.
