    Re: Application Loader

I have a question, what are OS, Device Manager, Desktop Manager?
I can't find OS on my computer, but I can find the Device and Desktop Manager.

    Re: Application Loader

OS stands for Operating System. When used normally here on PinStack in reference to the HandHeld OS it refers to the software package that is loaded/installed on your Blackberry and includes all the basic applications that RIM provides for the BB to run.

Desktop Manager is the Program that runs on your PC and is the User Interface for managing the different functions needed to maintain your BB. It includes the following:

    1. the Applications Loader, to add/update software packages to your BB,
    2. the Backup/Restore function to allow easy recovery of lost data if your BB has a hiccup,
    3. the Media Manager which allows transfer of Media Files to the Pearl and its Media Card
    4. and the Syncronization Feature which controls the sycnronization of your BB to a Personal Information Manager on your PC.

Device Manager is a subset of the Desktop Manager and I believe is used to manage multiple BB devices on the same PC and other functions between the Desktop Manager and the BB.

    Hope this Helps

What do you mean by "renaming/deleting" from the folder?
