    Question Application folder

How can I clean up the main screen and put applications into the Application folder? Things install nicely on my 8100. They all go to the main screen. Shouldn't there be a way I can put some, if not all, in the Application folder?

    Re: Application folder

everything that you install goes directly to the main screen. no way to put them in individual folders. unless is media ( ringtones, music, video, pictures)

Maybe try a different theme. If nothing else you might un-clutter your screen.

I know you're talking about the 8100 but on my 8300 I just highlight what I want to move, push the menu button, select move, move it on top of the folder, then click the trackball to drop it.

the 8100 isn't capable of creating new folders like the 8300 models

Why do they design such a great phone, then leave out such a simple feature as drag and drop?

What are you talking about? This thread is about creating folders on the home screen, not dragging and dropping.

Also when the new OS comes out then all current BBs will have the options to create folders.

Err... Ya, that's what I meant.
"..leave out such a simple feature as (creating folders on the home screen, into wich one would put icons using the method of) drag and drop"
