If you buy a MicroSD media card and format it in your Pearl, you will be able to download complete songs on your Pearl.

    Hope this helps

I think your talking about that you can't move the full song from your music folder to your ringtone folder and to answer that question I don't think you can do that because of the file size limit thing for this folder. I'm not sure if this is correct so let me try on my pearl and I'll post back.

    Hope this helps,

Ow, now I c what u mean. U right, even with the sd card u still wont be able to upload a file larger than 2.8 to your ringtone folder. So are u trying to set like a costum ringtone? Cause thats when u'd need to move it there. I guess u might have reduce the size of your mp3s then

Ok I cheched it out on my pearl and it will let you move a full song to the ringtones folder and when it rings it will play as much of the song as possible before going to the voicemail. So here is how to do it. Go to Media and click menu>explore. Then go to Media Card>Blackberry>Music and scroll to the song you want as your ringtone and click menu>move. Then click up>ringtones and then menu>move here. This will move the full song to the media card and under the ringtone folder. Once you do that you can close out of the explore mode and find the song under the ringtones folder and click menu>set as phone tune. Then when someone calls you it will play through as much of the song as possible before going to your voicemail without repeating after like 20 seconds as you said before.

    Hope this helps,

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~If you need to reduce the size of your mp3s (or do a bunch of other music edits), an excellent free tool for your Windows/Mac/linux machine is Audacity. http;//audacity.sourceforge.net. You do have to save an encoder into the Audacity folder on your machine but its a one-time deal and the instructions are very clear.

It also might be the number of Repeat Notifications you have set in your active profile. Try setting it to none and see if that plays longer.

    Hope this helps
