I'm just checking to see if anyone has heard of or knows where I can get a Video Player that will run full screen?
I've been ripping my DVD's so I can play them on my pearl but it sucks not having full screen.

Get the video converter from seabyrd, easy to have full screen video with it.

i think he means.. like when hes viewing the movie.. for an option to like take the whole screen not just the what the player allows.. almost like if you wanted to do the full 90 degree screen but at a 45degree angle

    does that make sence????

iono man i havent heard of one.. but damn i want one too!

keep us posted when you find one - none seem to exist just yet or it would be a popular download on this forum. Somewhat sad that more than 25% of the screen is used for the start/pause and voulme setting.

I posted a thread asking this very same question some months ago. I agree completelty. What is the purpose of the player controls taking up nearly the same amount of screen as the actual picture itself. I'm just pretty sure nobody has an answer to this one...at least not as of yet.

I'm patiently waiting for a player that will do this as well but as you can probably already tell, there isn't one out yet.

Yeah, there are many things we want, RIM could care less. I would like this also, then we could actually see details in the movie

well full screen has been shown to come in the OS of the 8300. *whisper* I think RIM wants us to upgrade.
