Im curious. My phone is usually on vibrate 95% of the time. But I wouldnt mind having a car sound as a ringtone when I am out of vibration mode. Anyone ever use one before or is it a cheesy/stupid idea?

Cheesy but try it out, record a car sound, encode in mp3 if it isn't already and then upload to your bb.

Not a bad idea. Are you thinking a revving engine sound or a horn...?

Either engine revving or a flyby sound.

Nope I have the clips Im planning on using. But I have the feeling they are gonna scare people. Haha. Dont know if I should do it or not. Like I said it might be cheesy and I wouldnt want to have something stupid as a ringtone.

If you like it why would it be stupid?

I agree. Even if it is stupid, you said yourself that you only would be using it like 5% of the time. There's no harm in using it if you like it. I'd be more worried about being "that guy" carrying on a loud conversation on the phone in the middle of Barnes and Nobles.

I Say Go for it already!!!

I know a person that has a chicken sound as a ringtone, so no this idea is not stupid at all.
