    I tired to use the .103 alx after using the .101 alx and it doesn't notice any update/change in DM. I tried the original alx from .103 and the same thing. So I guess .101 alx is ok for this?

    well if your not using tmo then you will need to delete the vendor.xml file for it to load

    I have tmo and my BB is tmo. Can I delete the vendor file still?

    you can try it and see what happens. nothing bad should come out of just deleting the vendor.xml

    Does anyone have a modded .alx file where the preloaded pics are deleted? I already upgraded my OS but I wanna make that change.

    hello fellow stackers im fairly good at these things but for some reason i cant get the 103 software to load on my pearl im with tmo and still using 64 ,try numerous time to load different all with the same results ,i deleted the vendor xml and still no results .Im really frustrated and about to go postal on my puter and pearl ,they now seems useless to me at this stage of the game.Any help would be appreciated ,please ,im desperate having read so many positive things on the forums about os 101 and now 103 and not being able to experience any of it .Any diehard BB fanatic or crackberry will understand what im talking about.pleeease HELP ME.please.

    What EXACTLY have you done so far and what is the result? Did you download and INSTALL the new OS? BTW - no need to delete the vendor file if you are with TMO.

    Iv downloaded the 103 os but when I try to install nothing happens ,and I did not delete the vendors xml,

    After you download you should see a program called "8100_v4.2.1.103 Set Up Launcher" You must launch this program to install on your desktop prior to using desktop manager to install. Have you done this?
