    Any TomTom users out there?

I just picked up a Tom Tom One Xl S and I was trying to connect it with my 8100. I got them connected through bluetooth and got to the point where I could choose one of four T-mobile connections on the Tom Tom but none of them work. This leads my to think that there is a settings issue on my pearl. Can anyone help me with the settings that would be need to allow a bluetooth device to access the internet through my pearl.

    Thanks in advance.

Choose the other option and use the automatic setting for the dhcp and dns settings. and when it asks ou for the number to dial it defaults to #99, change that to #777 if your on verizon or sprint. and continue with the setup it should work. I have to working on my tomtom one.

(I have a TomTom One [4N00.005] and a Verizon Wireless BlackBerry 8130 with unlimited everything)

I recently acquired a TomTom one, and have done the following:

    - Paired 8130 + TomTom One v.3
    - Manually setup connection using the following settings:
    1 - access point name: vzw3g
    2 - access point u/n: (phonenumber)@vzw3g.com
    3 - access point p/w: vzw
    4 - auto DHCP
    5 - auto DNS
    6 - [blank] login script

For a brief moment I see "Modem Mode En..." under my service bars on my BlackBerry; But then I see a "Unable to set up your wireless data connection." error message in my TomTom... Anyone have any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?! I have seen others claim that theirs work flawlessly.. HELP!!

You have to enter some internet connection settings but they'll be different for T-Mobile, I came across it today. I'll find it tomorrow and post it.

Perform the following to connect your TomTom GPS unit to your handset:
·****** NOTE: Most of the time a manual connection will not be needed as an automatic connection will take place if the unit is configured correctly.*
·****** NOTE: In order to utilize the Connect to Phone feature of the TomTom GPS,*you must have an option on your account that allows full internet access via GPRS.
    Setting up a Manual Connection
    1.***** Select Manual.
2.***** Enter the Access Point Name (APN): wap.voicestream.com
    3.***** Leave Username and*Password blank.*
4.***** The IP address should always be obtained automatically.
5.***** When asked about obtaining the DNS address, select Automatic.*
6.***** The number for the system to dial for a GPRS / UMTS network is:*99#.*
7.***** Enter the following login script: at+cgdcont=1,"ip","wap.voicestream.com","",0,0
Hope this helps! ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
