    Another Newbie Question

    Hey Guys,

This may be a stupid question but how can I can't seem to get rid of the capital ABC in the upper right hand section of my screen. It is covering up my signal strength. Any thoughts?

    Thanks

That works, or if you were going to type some sort of message (SMS,MMS,PIN,EMAIL) and decided to cancel, that is usually what happens.(ABC) To get rid of it, just compose another message but finish it and send it off!!!!! Goes away all the time for me.

Go to Options/Language and set Input Language the the desired Language but without the (Multi-Tap) behind it.

Another way to switch back to suretype is to go into an application that you typically type in such as memo or I believe any other application that you type in. Press and hold the asterisk button and it will switch to suretype. That worked for me.
