    Another (dumb) MP3 Question

All of the legal services (Napster, Yahoo, etc.) seem to have lists (without the new Pearl, of course) of compatible portable devices. Can I just download songs in MP3 format to a disc, and then transfer to the Pearl? Or do I need some intermediate hardware or software steps? Thanks, Bill

You can drag any MP3 (regardless of where you got it) into your media folder via the desktop manager and use it.

as long as it's in MP3 format. Itunes of course protects their downloaded music. Only *EASY* way to get those on your phone is to burn your itunes music to a cd, rip the cd to your pc in wmv. Then convert wmv -> mp3 and transfer to your blackberry.

    Hope this helped.
