Is there a way or app where I can listen to am radio? There's an am radio station here in Minnesota called KFAN. Its sports radio here on AM 1130. Any way I can listen to this on my pearl?

The only thing I can think of is that if by chance your radio station is broadcast via internet then you could use something like xplayer to listen to it. Good luck. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

    not sure, i found this...

    http://www.handango.com/PlatformProd...oductId=218955

it reads "Live music and news radio from anywhere at anytime! Create your Own Jukebox by adding your favorite stations."

but you have to pay like 21 dollars...?

and heres another link with different types of radio options.

Thumbs up Moodio for streaming radio stations

I came a cross a cool app called Moodio and its free! it works great on the pearl with 4.5.0.69 and im sure others too. you can program for different stations, whatever will stream. just google Moodio and setup an account have fun. you might have to play around with the bit rate to get it to work well I have mine set at 28 kbps stereo.

Just make sure you have the unlimited data plan on your phone!!

I tried moodio, I could not get my favorite station to play (wls chicago), but the ones on the list work fine.

Just so the OP is clear, there is no way the phone itself can pick up an AM radio frequency over the air. There is no radio antenna built into any blackberry cellphone, unlike certain other phones you have heard of that can indeed listen to radio the same way your car or home stereo can.

So the only way youre going to get live music on your blackberry is through the internet, and you can either use Mobiola xPlayer, or perhaps the program linked to from handango. Hopefully future upgrades to the BB os will include a media player that can handle this by default!

Hey I'm trying moodio from my blackberry but I can't log in. I already on the computer to register and add a couple stations but when I go to log in on my phone, it never gets to the first page. Ill get to the log in page, I log in then the next page won't ever load. I just get the hourglass.
