ALT + CAP + H doesn't work on the pearl; press ALT + EACE instead.

Also ALT + LGLG brings up the event log

ALT + NMLL changes the signal strength from bars to dBs and back again.

    That's all I got.

ALT + EACE == nerd info, sort of a combination of different status screens.

ALT + LGLG == call log nerd controls

Hmmm, doesn't seem to work on my .064 T-Mobile branded -- think it's variant/version specific?

ALT is (if I am correct) located on the Pearl on the bottom left...looks like an "arrow" key pointing up.

The LGLG and NMLL are key combinations that you press in conjunction with the ALT key.

And on the Pearl, the ALT+ NMLL will not work, but ALT+NNMLL will.

    Re: ALT codes

Its so hard to see the bars or dbs because of the blue arrows and ABC/alt icons on the top right corner.

Ahh slick, thanks. Did you dig this up from a tech doc somewhere, or just mash the buttons until you figured out what works?

I can't dig up the doc I read this in, but it said most towers operate at max 55 dB gain (so -55 on the scale), and a cellular dropout occurs at no higher that -98, making that your effective range.

-55 == sitting on the tower, -98 sitting in a concrete bnunker.

Ok so the higher the number, the lower the signal strenght is ?
I am at low 90's in my office. hahahaha
